Candice is a journalist interested in how race, gender and class shape societies throughout the world. She has produced work for print, web, and broadcast organizations covering law enforcement, education, state and national policy.
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor's in news-editorial journalism. She also received a master's degree in international media from American University.
An avid traveler, her experiences have taken her to numerous countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, and Spain, where she assisted English teachers during the 2013-2014 school year.
